303 'A' Street
" Milton R. & Lovisa Lee Home "

This home was built in about 1905 and may have been built using the same floor plans as the homes at 315 and 331 Ash street. It was the home of Milton R. and Lovisa Lee for many years. Milton, or M.R. Lee as he was commonly known, was an active member of the Masons and was involved in a number of businesses in Bandon, Myrtle Point and Powers. For many years, M.R. traveled frequently to San Francisco promoting the various businesses in the local area.

In 1943, Milton and Lovisa purchased the family home at 331 Ash Street and Lovisa moved to this house in about 1948, after Milton's death.

The home on A street is still used as a private residence and retains many of the architectural features of the original home.

Information on the Heritage Homes website was compiled from Reflections of the Past: Myrtle Point, Oregon Historic Buildings, a project of the Myrtle Point Rotary, Chamber of Commerce and the Coos County Logging Museum (circa 1985) and Take a Break in Historic Myrtle Point produced by the Myrtle Point Chamber of Commerce (circa 1975) unless otherwise noted.
