A large number of lumbermen are leaving here tonight for Oregon, and they have their eyes on Coos. Mr. McKinney, general immigration agent for the Harriman lines, says that Coos county is one of the most promising sections of the Northwest today. Today (Nov 30) is the last of the special excursion rates until January, and the Union Pacific is leaving here with as big a crowd as any during the summer.
